Darren and Anne Breaud started B & B Race Cars 7 years ago in a 2500 sq. ft. shop in Baton Rouge, La. They got their start building Heads Up 10.5 inch Tire Cars. Their first big break came when Alan and Todd Patterson commissioned B & B to build a 2005 Chevy Cavalier. That car generated a lot of interest in B & B's work, and shortly thereafter things got rolling very fast for the company.
A stroke of luck occurred when the decision was made to move the business to Hohenwald, Tennessee in July of 2005. Just weeks later hurricane Katrina hit the Baton Rouge area and B & B got out just in time. 2005 continued to be a great year for B & B, Darren went to Indy in August and sold 8 race cars on the spot.
Currently B & B Race Cars operates in a 15,000 sq. ft. shop with 4 full time employees. The new facilities include an in-house Paint & Body Shop, all necessary chassis jigs and fabrication equipment, dedicated upholstery and wiring areas, and final assembly stalls. Everything needed to build complete turn key race cars is available in house.
B & B Race Cars has 8 new cars under construction that will be out in time for the 2007 NHRA Season.
