| | New Top Sportsman Camaro Almost Ready!

We're in the final stages of assembly on a new 68 Camaro Top Sportsman! She's looking really pretty over in the paint shop and the air brush work looks awesome... We can't wait to show off the finished car here real soon! The shop has been real busy the last couple months with no sign of slow down during the upcoming winter thanks to our great customers!

| | Breaud's Launch 2nd Business - Mid Tennessee Fabrication

Darren & Anne Breaud, owners of B & B Race Cars, have opened a second business, Mid Tennessee Fabrication. Mid Tn Fab is a industrial fabrication shop located in a separate part of B&B's building. We currently have a contract with a Louisiana Company building industrial equipment for them and look forward to expanding the new business in 2009 and hiring additional employees . We've got a great crew working for us already and the future is looking very bright!

| | Reese is Ready! Drag Radial Mustang Finished

David Reese arrived Friday to pickup his new F3 Procharged Hemi Drag Radial Mustang. Reese and B & B put the finishing touches on he car Friday and loaded up to head to Huntsville this weekend to test. We're all excited about this car and what it will do with all the power on board! Good luck with the new car David!!!

| | Cliff Reigle Picks up "New" Camaro
 Cliff Reigle from Ashland City, Tennessee picked up his completely refurbished "New" Camaro this week, and his car came out just flat beautiful... Years of racing the Camaro were starting to take their toll on the 1st Gen Camaro, so Cliff had B & B totally redo the warrior from top to bottom, and the results were a stunning improvement! Cliff runs the car in NHRA Super Stock F/Automatic and he's been racing "forever" he says and can't wait to take the car to Louisville to a race this weekend. Good luck Cliff with your new Camaro, we're looking forward to hear about how she works for you!

Even though Fall weather is starting to cool things off outside, inside here at B & B Race Cars business is still red hot. Several new projects have just started in the shop, for example this white Hemi Cuda is getting a full makeover. |

Darren drove the Stancil / Caro
Stratus last weekend in Memphis and was the #1 Qualifier out of 66 cars! Unfortunately some technical difficulties prevented him from making it past the first round, but the car was definitely running well. We also had a great time hanging out with our customers at Memphis - there were 9 of them there and it was good to see everyone! Don't forget we're approaching the time of year when we're going to get very busy and the waiting list will grow. So if you're thinking about having a new car built, don't waste any time giving us a call. From here on the list will be growing quickly... |
| | He's Baaaaack!!!

David Reese became the proud new owner of the New B & B 25.2 Stock Suspension Cobra last Sunday. All you drag radials guys go ahead and start the hating as you eye the 526 Alky Hemi with the gear driven F3R getting ready to be dropped into the engine bay of this beautiful Black Stang!!! Dave's back and he means business!!! Look for this car to be out soon.. maybe as early as Huntsville, but for sure you should be looking for it to make an appearance at Bradenton! You KNOW this car is going to be a player! |
| | Gary Richards takes Home a Wally!

Gary Richards got his first class win in Division 1 at Englishtown New Jersey last weekend! Gary competed in GT/AA and after going 7 rounds defeated Billy Leber to claim his first class win and get his first Wally! Congratulations Gary on a highly deserved win! |

B & B Customers had a GREAT time at Indy this year! In Competition Eliminator Adam Hickey from New Orleans went 5 rounds in eliminations to R/U in his Cobalt. In Super Stock we had 3 winners; - James Caro/Stancil's Stratus won SS/BM
- Allen Myrick/Stancil's New Apsen won SS/JA
- Arnie Martel's Cobalt won SS/BS
The Sonny Stancil bunch,after qualifying 4 and 8 in SS, had to leave after class to return to Louisiana to take care of family. More great performances were shown by B & B Customers Gary Richard, Sean Cour, Bo Kenney, Lee Sharp, and Fred Allen. Congratulations to all our customers for your outstanding performances at Indy!  Last weekend was a good one for some of our customers... The Cour Family set a new record in Montana in SS GT/AA of 9.04 and Justin Jenkins won at Topeka Ks! Next weekend there will be a contingent of B & B Customers showing up at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indy for the biggest, oldest, richest, and most prestigious drag race in the world.
B & B customers have the top 3 fastest cars in GT/AA fighting for the class win. We also have a very fast SS/JA car (Stancil Aspen) and a fast SS/BM (Stancil/Caro Stratus) that will be there. Indy should certainly be interesting this year!!! In, GT/AA Gary Richard is going for the class win again and Bo Kenny is coming with his new car that has been fast everywhere. But we can't count out the West Coast, The Cours are coming with a super fast car too!! Super Stock has a lot going on this year... We would like to wish all our customers competing at Indy good luck and we'll see you there! |
| | Summer Time Shop Report

Thankfully B & B's shop is air conditioned, and it's a good thing too because we're mega busy turning out first class race cars for our customers. Our guys don't have to slow down because their burning up in the summer heat, and that's one of the many reasons we can build award winning, record setting race cars quicker than most others. Right now we've got two Cobalts on the jig, the tubings bent and they're ready to start welding. These cars are both approximately 120 days away from being complete, ready to run, turn key race cars. Call today if you're interested in one of them! Don't wait because someone will be the happy new owner of these race cars real soon... We're also finishing up a customers Top Sportsman car, it's getting the wing and sheetmetal work completed. The orange 1st Gen Camaro we're finishing up in the photo above is almost done - and it's a beauty! In other parts of the shop we have a Super Stock Cobalt ready for paint in the paint booth, Jackie Moran's 10.5 Camaro is in another bay getting a brake upgrade and we have a back half Mustang project in progress. So as you can see, things are plenty busy at B & B as always. We're grateful that our customers trust us to be in charge of their race car fabrication work. B & B customers had a great weekend all over the US June 21st!! - In New Jersey, Norman Hall's Cavalier won Super Stock with Dave Ficacci driving.
- Sean Cour got a Runner-up at Kent, Washington.
- Bill Gibbs got a Best Appearing Award in Lufkin, Texas - his second this year in his 1969 Dart!
- Down South at the ORSCA 10.5 Race in Montgomery, Alabama Jackie Moran's 69 Camaro runnered-up with Jeff Cooner driving - not too bad considering it's the second time out with the new combination!
- Bo Kenney qualified #1 and got Best Engineering at the Budds Creek IHRA Race with his new Cobalt he picked up in May.

| | The Sparks are Flyin' at B & B

June is typically a slow month for most chassis shops, but not here at B & B! We're knee deep building new race cars! In July and August we'll be finishing up a Brand New Top Sportsman Car and 2 New Super Stockers. We're also in the middle of 2 SS Cobalts and a 10.5 Mustang update! Are we busy? You bet... but that doesn't stop us from finishing our race winning cars on time and on budget! | | Bo Kenny Picks Up New Cobalt

Bo Kenney picked up his beautiful new 2008 Chevy Cobalt on May 14th. This is the first Cobalt to run the LS1 engine combination, so everyone is very interested to see how it performs... Bo's going to be running Super Stock at Bristol this coming weekend, so we're going to find out soon! |

| | Cordis Johnson Wins Comp at St. Louis in all Johnson Final

In B & B Customer News last weekend, Cordis Johnson won Competition Eliminator in a all Johnson final round, Cordis's Son Mike runnered up. Also at St. Louis, Peter Biondo won Super Stock in Arnie Martel's Cobalt.
Also on the same weekend in LA at State Capital, Kevin Helms won SS in Bryon Latinos G5 and David Latino went to the Semis both days in Bryon Latinos Firebird (Firebird is for sale). Also, Stancil/Caro qualified real good and went several rounds in their new Car. Congratulations guys on a great racing weekend! |

| | Lil' Nasty has left the building...

 Lil' Nasty's is going home to Knoxville, Tennessee to prepare for battle in Outlaw 10.5 this summer. Owner Taylor Lastor of TRE Racing Engines picked her up March 31st. We're sure he'll have her out testing soon... there's no doubt that this car will bring everyone to the fence when it shows up in the lanes! Good luck Taylor with Lil' Nasty, we can't wait to hear news on how she does! |

B & B Customers made news at the 21st annual O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals! Bryon Latino was there and he won his class in SS/BS. Way to go Bryon!!! Also at Houston Bill Gibbs won his class (SS/HA) with his new Dart and was awarded the NHRA Best Appearing Car Award! What a way to break in a new car... Congratulations Mr. Gibbs!  Sonny Stancil had his new Aspen SS/JA picked up this weekend. He will finish the assembly and have it ready for the Cajun Sports Nat. in April at Belle Rose. His son in law Allen Myrick will be driving. Also, Bill Gibbs will be there with his new Dart. |

We also completed a freshen up job to Stephen Braden's Pro Mod. We remounted the body, worked on the 4 link, powder coated the chassis, and made other fabrication updates. |

| | B & B Customers @ No Problem Raceway - Hickey Sets New National Record

Adam Hickey driving the Hickey Bros Racing Chevy Cobalt in C/SMA-Comp got a big birthday present March 2nd. He set a new National Record of 8.14 and held the #1 spot at the NHRA Division 4 Cajun Challenge! Adam went on to the quarters later in competition. Also at No Problem, in Competition Eliminator class. The Stancil/Caro Dodge Stratus got to try out their fresh Patterson engine. With Caro out of town, Darren drove the Stancil/Caro car to the #7 spot in B/SMA. This was the 1st race out in Comp with a New package for this car. Look for Stratus to show big numbers in the next few weeks at upcoming races! In Super Stock, Bryon Latino drove his Pontiac G5 in SS/BS to the #2 spot went to the Quarters. No Problem Raceway is Bryon's home track. Congratulations Guys! The season is starting out very well!!! |

| | Bill Gibbs picks up his "New" 1969 Dodge Dart Super Stock

 Mr. Bill Gibbs, the Veteran Super Stock racer from Lufkin, Texas has picked up his totally restored 1969 Dodge Dart Super Stocker from B & B Race Cars. Mr. Gibbs has fully recovered from a wreck in 2005, and together with his "New" Dodge Dart, is preparing for a come back tour in 2008! We're honored that Bill picked B & B as his race car builder of choice and we're looking forward to seeing him run the car very soon. Look for this beautiful Dart in the Super Stock ranks early this year! |
| | Jenkin's Wins NHRA 2007 Best Appearing Car Award

 At the 2007 NHRA West Central Division 5 Awards Banquet Justin Jenkins was awarded the Eagle Eye Photography Best Appearing Car of the Year Award. The January 1st Banquest was held at the Sheraton Kansas City Sports Complex with over 450 people in attendance. Congratulations Justin on your award! We're sure it's one of many you'll earn in future!
